Dr. Schutt-Ainé serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast (PPGC) and is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist. Before joining PPGC, she held various roles with Planned Parenthood affiliates in both Pennsylvania and California. Since late 2008, she has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine, where she provides direct patient care and plays an active role in training medical students and residents.
As a dedicated educator, Dr. Ann Schutt-Aine introduced the first Ryan Residency Program in Abortion and Family Planning in Texas, enhancing medical education and access to reproductive healthcare in the state. She earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her residency at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Schutt-Ainé is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the National Medical Association, and the Society of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology.
